May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues and to help reduce the stigma so many experience. With Mental Health such an important issue for all of us, it has also emerged as one of the most critical challenges for HR and business leaders to address. According to The 2022 State of Workforce Mental Health Report from our friends ay Lyra Health, 84 percent of workers surveyed experienced at least one mental health challenge in the past year, from issues such as stress and burnout to diagnosable conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.
With employee mental health such a challenge, we have devoted a number of podcasts featuring several workplace mental health experts over the last year or so, and I thought it would be a good idea to bring these altogether in one place, to make it easier for anyone interested in listening to some of the best information, insight, and recommendations on ways to support employee’s mental health and wellbeing.
